Hamsadhwani • I initially learned this tune as a bit of a crowd pleaser for the year or so David and I were playing indian wedding gigs. A short lived activity that got old quick. But this piece stayed with me and deepened.

It was my first foray into light classical style of sitar music. Hamsadhwani is a sweet evening raga popular in Carnatic Indian Music (Southern Indian). This arrangement is a real hybrid arrangement, with compositions given to me by Prasannaji, mixed with hindi filmi music recordings and my own improvisations.
